Strange Life of Kinky P

Kinky P is an R&B artist hailing from Phenix City, Alabama. The artist has just release their EP “Strange Life of Kinky P”, which blurs the lines between funk and R&B in this delicious new soundtrack.

“The Bomb” opens the album and brings a vintage R&B sound to the mix that is smooth and experimental. Kinky P’s raw vocals instantly draws the listener into the album and keeps them listening for the entire record.

One of the standouts on the record is “Drawn to You”, this number showcases a softer side of the artist by exploring his feelings towards his significant other. There is a 70’s production aesthetic to this number that is reminiscent to legends such as Marvin Gaye and Barry White.

To finish off the “Strange Life of Kinky P”, “Temptation” features sensual female vocals that follow a unique and interesting lyrical flow that is a nice surprise at the end of the EP.
